Car Accidents in Hawaii
When the person in control of an object that has the ability to end lives is irresponsible, distracted, or careless for even a moment, the odds of them killing someone or causing a victim to endure critical injuries is high.
Occasionally, automobile accidents are the end result of a single external influence; something over which no one driver has any control. It is far more likely, however, for a motor vehicle collision to be caused by multiple factors that build up to a single, horrific event. Even though it’s true that once every so often, no one is at-fault, a tremendous number of serious auto accidents are due to the negligent behavior of one or all drivers.
Some common types of driver negligence that lead to serious auto accidents include:
- Distracted drivers, like those watching videos, sending text messages, and making phone calls
- Drives under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Drivers acting aggressively or recklessly
- Vehicles that have not been properly maintained
- Intersections and streets that are poorly laid out
These and countless other kinds of negligent behavior endanger thousands of people every single day, including walkers, joggers, children, bicyclists, and even the occupants of other vehicles on the road.
