Leavitt, Yamane & Soldner proudly supported Mothers Against Drunk Driving’s “Walk Like MADD” fundraiser and awareness event this year as a Contributing Sponsor. During the event, we supplied handheld fans to all the walkers, and many people used them to keep cool during the walk!
Walk Like MADD is a yearly event to raise awareness of drunk driving and remember those who have lost their lives in drunk driving accidents. Participants are encouraged to form walking teams and fundraise to benefit MADD and its mission to end drunk driving. This year’s walk was held at the Ala Moana Center in Honolulu and drew a huge crowd.
Drunk driving is a huge public safety problem on our nation’s roadways and is responsible for tens of thousands of preventable injuries and deaths every year. While nothing can ever make right the loss of a loved one, surviving family members may have a right to take legal action to hold a drunk driver responsible for their negligence. If you need legal guidance regarding a potential personal injury or wrongful death matter, Leavitt, Yamane & Soldner is available to help – just give our office a call at (808) 537-2525 to schedule a meeting with a member of our team.
Big Mahalo to everyone who joined us for this great event for the second year in a row. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
