Our team of Honolulu injury attorneys at Leavitt, Yamane & Soldner are proud to announce we are the lead sponsor of the Walk like MADD Event on September 23, 2017. The purpose of this inspiring and important event is to honor victims hurt or killed at the hands of a drunk driver. Led by Mothers Against Drunk Driving, thousands of people will march in remembrance of those who are no longer with us, alongside those who are learning to walk again following their survival of a debilitating drunk driving accident.
This premise of Walk Like MADD first began in 1980 by a grieving mother who lost her child to a drunk driver. With 11 teams and 45 participants, over $42,000 has been raised for Walk Like MADD–reaching 70% of the $60,000 goal. This incredible march against drunk driving will take place at the Ala Moana Center, at 7:00 AM. Leavitt, Yamane & Soldner commits to do our part to end drunk driving, in honor of the countless innocent victims.
Thousands of people across the nation will participate in Walk Like MADD 5k, thanks to the help of numerous volunteers, team captains, walkers, and sponsors. Our firm is thrilled to be the presenting sponsor of such a historic and momentous event, and we look forward to eliminating drunk driving in the years to come.
At Leavitt, Yamane & Soldner, we are dedicated to various causes close to our heart. As compassionate and dedicated Honolulu injury attorneys, we have seen a number of victims suffer at the hands of a drunk driver’s carelessness or negligence. This is why we do everything in our power to fight for these victims and their families, holding the responsible parties accountable for actions.
