Manoa, HI (July 12, 2022) – Sections of Manoa were left without power after a traffic collision launched a vehicle into two electrical poles on Tuesday, July 12th.
The incident took place at about 1:00 a.m. on Oahu Avenue in the area of Anuenue Street in Manoa.
According to a representative from Hawaiian Electric, one pole was severed due to the impact.
The Honolulu Police Department confirmed that several victims sustained injuries.
Oahu Avenue was shut down while crews made repairs.
