Car Accidents in Hawaii

Honolulu, HI - Three-Vehicle Injury Accident on I-H-1 at Waialae Ave

There are many different reasons that car accidents happen. Once in a great while, there is truly no one to blame for the events that led to a collision. More often than not, however, car accidents come down to negligent behavior on the part of one or both drivers.

Some common forms of negligence that often result in serious car accidents that cause injuries to those involved include:

  • Distracted driving, such as making calls and texting from behind the wheel
  • Driving while drunk
  • Reckless driving
  • Insufficiently maintained vehicles
  • Poorly laid-out intersections and streets

These and countless other forms of negligent behavior routinely put people, such as bicyclists, walkers, and even other motorists, in danger. When the person driving a vehicle that could potentially kill someone is careless or inattentive for even a moment, the chances of them ending a life or leaving someone seriously injured are extremely high.
