Honolulu, HI – Major MVA on H1 Fwy near Likelike Exit

Honolulu, HI (June 17, 2022) – A serious car wreck happened in the Kalihi neighborhood of Honolulu on June 16. At approximately 11:17 p.m., the incident was reported to authorities in the area. 

According to information from officials, at least one person was hurt in the accident that happened on the H1 Freeway just before the Likelike exit. The Honolulu Police Department along with Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to the scene to help the involved parties. The Honolulu Fire Department was also in the area. 

Paramedics rendered aid to those who were hurt at the wreck site. The total number of injured parties who required emergency transport to the hospital has not been reported at this time. 

Traffic was stopped completely near the collision site for some time on the night of June 16. Authorities in Honolulu continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
