Ewa Beach, HI (May 15, 2022) – A 19-year-old sustained critical injuries when his vehicle and a city bus collided with one another near Ewa Beach on Saturday, May 14th.
The incident took place at about 5:15 p.m. when a teen driving a 1998 Honda sedan southbound on Fort Weaver Road in the area of Old Fort Weaver Road collided with a city bus, operated by a 54-year-old man.
Rescuers stated that the 19-year-old was transported via ambulance to a local hospital in critical condition.
.No one on board the bus was injured.
Police do not believe that speed or driver impairment played a role in the crash.
